Parking is at Solvalla Swinghill, address Nuuksiontie 88, Espoo.

The parking fee is 5 euros/car/day, and can be paid at the arena info desk, preferably via MobilePay (number 35338) or by card.

Transportation has been arranged from the parking area to the competition center for very young children (with strollers) and their parents, as well as for participants over 85 years old. Please contact the parking staff upon your arrival at the parking area.

Arena, info and first aid

The arena will open on Saturday, June 6, at 9:00 AM and on Sunday, June 7, at 8:00 AM. The arena can be reached via the pedestrian path along Solvalla Road, which is approximately 2900 meters long, and the route is marked with blue and white ribbons. The arena is located on a meadow on Meerlammentie, on private land. There are private property areas nearby, and there are restricted planting areas within the arena that are off-limits.

At the arena, you will find the finish line, competition information, first aid, restrooms (portable toilets), Suunnistajan Kauppa (selling orienteering gear) and a café.

The café offers coffee, tea, refreshments, sandwiches, pastries, candy, and grilled sausages. Lactose-free and gluten-free options are also available at the café.

Located near the parking area is the Luontokeskus Haltia restaurant.

Two tents have been set up for changing clothes for competitors—any gear storage will be the competitor’s own responsibility in the outdoor areas of the arena. There will be no washing stations or childcare available on site.

Description of the terrain

The competition area is located in Nuuksio, Espoo, and consists of both urban outdoor recreation areas and areas within Nuuksio National Park. The competition area is bordered by the southern side of Velskola, the Karjakaivo and Kattilajärvi outdoor recreation areas. The competition terrain varies between small, easily navigable areas of open rock, a network of paths and roads, and spruce-covered hills and slopes. The elevation differences in the area are quite steep, with individual hills rising 20–50 meters above their surroundings. Passability is generally good, but fallen trees slow down passability in some places. The old maps of the area are from 2017.

Map

Orienteering map at scale 1: 10 000, contour interval of 5 meters, updated 2026. For classes H/D50 and older as well as HD10–12 map scale is 1:7 500. Competition map will be digitally printed.
